Ximuwu Safari Lodge is a newly built 5-star safari lodge located within the Klaserie Private Nature Reserve, offering luxurious, wheelchair-accessible accommodations.

The lodge features four private suites, each designed for high privacy, with North-facing floor-to-ceiling windows that overlook the reserve’s waterhole and wildlife. The suites include electrically adjustable king-size or twin beds, a wood-burner, armchairs, a Smart TV, and a private patio with outdoor seating. The en-suite bathrooms are fully accessible, with step-free showers, freestanding baths, and level access to a second outdoor shower.

Ximuwu offers a wide range of exclusive, personalized experiences, including private safaris, game drives, bush walks, helicopter scenic flights, and night safaris. Guests can enjoy fine dining, bush picnics, poolside wood-fired pizza, and bush dinners with drinks under the stars, all included in the stay. The private chef also caters to various culinary preferences.

The lodge features a wheelchair-accessible spa with luxury treatments using L’Occitane and Africology products, with a complimentary 60-minute treatment for each guest. Two underground wheelchair-accessible photohides provide optimal wildlife viewing near the waterholes. Guests can relax in the lodge’s beautiful outdoor spaces, including a sun deck with a fire pit, a 16-metre swimming pool with a pool lift, and multiple dining areas.

For transportation, the lodge provides a wheelchair-accessible airport shuttle, along with a wheelchair-accessible game viewer. The lodge is set within 16,000 acres of private reserve that borders the Greater Kruger National Park, offering an immersive wildlife experience.

Located just 20 minutes from Hoedspruit (Eastgate) Airport, the lodge is a 5.5-hour drive from Johannesburg O.R. Tambo International Airport.
